Building A Civilization of Love: Marian Conference Weekend May 22nd & 23rd, 2010

Producer: Laura Cirami
Host: Frank Ruffolo

On Friday, May 21st, 2010 on AM530 or www.teopoli.org from 1PM-2PM we had a special interview on Building A Civilization of Love with Frank Ruffolo and Doctor Andrew Simone who is the founder of Canadian Food for Children, a charity that ships millions of tons of food and supplies annually to help feed the world's hungry. During the interview you will hear what happened to Doctor Simone thirty years ago and how the Lord stepped into his life in a very dramatic way. Doctor Simone will be speaking at the 2010 Marian Conference this upcoming weekend from May 22nd-May 23rd.

Following the interview with Doctor Simone, we can't forget about World Communications Day the Church celebrated on Sunday on May 16th, a day where Catholic print and broadcast communicators show how their gifts and talents are used to spread the good news of the Gospel message through the New Evangelization spoken so eloquently by Pope John Paul II during his Papacy. We thought it would be best to give the listeners a chance to hear the encore presentation of a Radio Teopoli's exclusive interview recorded last year with Father Thomas Rosica, President and CEO of Salt and Light Media Foundation www.saltandlighttv.org

Last but not least, Lou Iacobelli, organizer of the 2010 Marian Conference was in the Radio Teopoli studio LIVE to let us know all the information about this wonderful weekend held at the Basilian Marian Shrine of Gratitude located on the grounds of the Basilian Monastery in Weston (west Toronto).
